In this tutorial we will show you how to start receiving payments through your PayPal account.
1 ) SETUP THE PAYPAL IPN:
VERY IMPORTANT: Your website needs SSL, this means that your website URL should look like https:// otherwise the Bookings will not be confirmed and the email notifications won’t be sent to staff members, admin and clients.
Login to your PayPal account:
Click on Settings option, then click on My selling tools. There you will find the option to setup your IPN URL. Just click on Instant Payment Notification link.
Click on Choose IPN Settings.
Set the notification URL, this is the URL of your WordPress website.
VERY IMPORTANT: The notification URL structure must to be as follow:
https://yourwebsitehere.com/?easywpmipncall. The “?easywpmipncall” at the end is very important, otherwise your subscriptions will keep as pending status.
Click on the Save button.
Now PayPal will send notifications about the payments and subscription renewals to your website and the Easy WP Members will update your subscriptions and your orders.
2 ) SETUP PAYPAL ON EASY WP MEMBERS:
Once you’ve set the PayPal IPN you have to activate this payment method.
The first thing you’ve to do is login to your WP Dashboard then click on EWPM – Gateways
You will see the following screen:
You have to input your PayPal email account for production mode and if you wish to run some tests you will have to input your sandbox PayPal account.
IMPORTANT: You have to set a valid currency, otherwise PayPal will display an “ERROR” message.
